Jeremy JOLY (FRA – KTM) arrived on the World Championship in 2015 with the hope of top results, and plenty of talent to back up his ambition. But unfortunately, after his big crash in 2014 (where he damaged several vertebra), “JJ” never regained the confidence and the pace to fight for the Top 5 in the World Championship, or the title in the French Championship. Manager Eric BERNARD therefore asked his rider to focus only on the National title in 2016.
Currently leading the E3 class in France ahead of the ‘Privateer of the Year’ Antoine BASSET (F – KTM), the 2011 Junior World Champion has finally received clearance to once again do battle with the world’s best.
Mentally prepared and physically strong, JOLY will be present at the last three Grand Prix (Basque Country, France and Italy) riding his KTM 300 EXC.
We can expect some strong performances from JOLY in EnduroGP and especially in the Enduro 3 class. The Southern Frenchman really hopes to be close to his French Championship rival, Antoine BASSET.
Always a dedicated sportsman and hard worker, JOLY knows that the last three Grand Prix of the season will allow him to prove whether he has what it takes to stay on the World Enduro scene. With no pressure in the standings, the Frenchman should arrive in Gordexola relaxed and ready. He could do battle with the EnduroGP favourites and really put the cat among the pigeons in E3!
