Who will win the very first EnduroGP title?

The brand new “EnduroGP” official title and the creation of the category is the big novelty of this 2016 season. We remind you that this new class gathers the E1, E2 and E3 classes in an outright standing. The start order of each race day will be determined by the “EnduroGP” standing and the standing of the different classes will be then issued from this “scratch”.
So, they will be a lot to look after this Number 1 plate in order to become the very first “EnduroGP” World Champion!

E2 asset?

The medium class (E2) has generally ruled the unofficial scratch during the last seasons and the futureEnduroGP World Champion can be one rider of this class.
The KTM Factory Racing team, managed by Fabio FARIOLI, has big expectation with Christophe NAMBOTIN (F – 350 EXC) to get the title… The only question is: Is he 100% ready after his ACL injury? The three times World Champion will be helped by the American Taylor ROBERT who will run his first GP season…
The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Racing team is looking to the young E3 World Champion Mathias BELLINO (F) to offer them their first EnduroGP title.

PHILLIPS and SALVINI: new teams

Equipped with the brand new Yamaha 450 WR-F, Loic LARRIEU (F) and the experienced SpanishCristobal GUERRERO should be more than simple outsiders in this big set of talent with their new Outsider Yamaha team managed by Marc BOURGEOIS (F).
2014 E3 World Champion, Australia’s Matthew PHILLIPS will be one of the favorite and his return with mythic manager Fabrizio AZZALIN with the 450 Sherco, after two seasons with KTM, can be a great addition.
After being the center of the attention during the off-season, Alex SALVINI (I) arriving from Honda to Beta, is coming to a very ambitious Italian team and he is also dreaming of the EnduroGP title. For sure one of the biggest client!

AUBERT, why not?

But the new EnduroGP World Champion can be also an E1 or E3 rider with, why not, a great “comeback” of Frenchie Johnny AUBERT (Beta). Many times injured during the last seasons, Fabrizio DINI friend seems to be fitter than ever and as his talent is intact… He can be a real option for the title!

Eero REMES (SF – TM), 2015 E1 World Champion, and Ivan CERVANTES (E – KTM) are the big favorites in the small class. They can’t be forgotten in the fight for the EnduroGP title as well, even if they will miss a bit of power in some Grand Prix of the season.
Finally, some nice shots and surprises can come from E1 riders like Anthony BOISSIERE (F – Sherco), Daniel MCCANNEY (GB – Husqvarna) and also former MXGP rider Nathan WATSON (GB – KTM). Same with some E3 protagonists as Jonathan BARRAGAN (E – Gas Gas) or also Manuel MONNI (I – TM) and Lorenzo SANTOLINO (E – Sherco). But all these guys will firstly target the podium of their respective categories.

From NAMBOTIN to BELLINO, PHILLIPS, SALVINI and also AUBERT, we have here a Fab Five that will set enormous times during the eight Grand Prix of an “EnduroGP” season full of new things.
